Image Composite Explorer
Launch of the Image Composite Explorer (ICE) in NEO. ICE is a simple analytical tool that allows you to select datasets for side-by-side comparison. Look for the 'Add to ICE Box' link on most datasets to get started.

Added a few new features: Ability to resize by fixed degree resolution (0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1.0); RSS feed so you can receive notices about updates to the system, new features, and new datasets.

MODIS Atmospheric Datasets
Added several new MODIS Atmospheric datasets (all global): Aerosol Optical Thickness, Aerosol Particle Radius, Cloud Fraction, Cloud Optical Thickness, Cloud Particle Radius, and Water Vapor. Special thanks to Reto Stockli of the Earth Observatory for producing these images.

MODIS True and False Color
Added MODIS True and False Color datasets. These are available as daily global and 5-minute swath images. These datasets will give you the most current, color views of our planet. Special thanks to the MODIS Rapid Response Team for their efforts in producing these data.
